WULM (at former WIZE studios 2005) [19 Images] may be available for purchase
A virtual tour of 1600 WULM's studios located at the former WIZE studios on Miracle Mile in Springfield when it was owned by Urban Light Ministries which offered an oldies fomat from 2003 to 2006. The format which mixed vintage Top 40 with classic R&B was called "Rock n' Soul Classics" which was geared to reaching out to pre-believers by airing insprational and biblical vignettes. The oldies format was 'tweaked" in 2006 to include classic hits from the 1970s and 80s. In 2007 WULM once again aired a talk format as "Springfield's Community Station" when Urban Light announced the station was up for sale. These photos were taken in early 2005 during the Rock n' Soul Classics oldies format.

WULM (former WIZE) studios (2008) [16 Images] may be available for purchase
1529 Miracle Mile was practically deserted when we moved in during late May/early June of 2008 to rebroadcast the network audio from KJMJ until early 2009. Sattellite reception problems incurred when we re-aligned the dish toward's KJMJ's sattellite in May of 2008 as the trees blocked reception...and potentially our studio-transmitter link to Miller Rd..a problem WULM incurred previously a couple of years earlier. A special online network feed was set up between Alexandria and Springfield until a new receiving dish was installed at the Miller Rd. tower site.
This is what the Miracle Mile studio building and WIZE transmitter site now looks like in its current state...a relic of its former self.
